XP Progression (The Nerdy Part)
We use Fibonacci sequences for XP values. Why? Because Fibonacci progressions feel naturally balanced—they show up everywhere from pinecones to the Parthenon. Plus, we're geeks.
Base XP per ticket:
- Simple tickets: 8 XP
- Medium complexity: 13 XP
- Complex issues: 21 XP
- Critical tickets: 34 XP
- Boss battle contributions: 55 XP
- Boss defeat bonus: 89 XP
Streak multipliers use the golden ratio (φ = 1.618):
- 2-streak: 1.618x
- 3-streak: 2.618x
- 4-streak: 4.236x
- 5-streak: 6.854x
- 6+ streak: 11.09x (capped)
This means breaking a streak hurts. Quality over rushing—always.
How to Level Faster
- Build streaks - Consecutive successful resolutions compound your XP
- Hunt boss battles - When a Velocity Boss or Bug Boss spawns, jump in
- Earn 5-star CSAT - 5-star ratings multiply your XP by φ (1.618x)
- Take the hard tickets - Complex tickets pay 2-3x more than easy ones
- Complete daily quests - Bonus XP plus quest completion rewards
- Be a great teammate - Helping others earns XP and achievements
