Don't drown in alerts. Set them to match how you actually work.
Where to Find Them
Go to Settings > Agent Tab > Notifications.
What You Can Toggle
Each notification type can be turned on or off independently:
| Notification | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Mentions | Someone @mentioned you in a ticket note |
| Assignments | A ticket was assigned to you |
| Followed Updates | A ticket you follow got a new message |
| 1-Ups | Someone sent you a 1-Up |
| Announcements | Important updates from cStar |
All five are enabled by default. Turn off whatever doesn't help you.
Recommendation
Start with fewer notifications and add more if you're missing things. Most people do fine with Mentions and Assignments on, and everything else off or on digest.
