Every cStar team starts with a 14-day free trial. No credit card required. No gotchas.
What You Get During Trial
Everything. The full cStar experience:
- All features unlocked
- Unlimited team members
- Full gamification (XP, levels, boss battles — the works)
- Invite your whole squad
We don't hold features hostage. Your trial is the real product.
The Trial Banner
During your trial, you'll see a banner at the top of the screen showing:
- Days remaining in your trial
- Your current seat count
- What your monthly cost will be ($15 × seats)
This isn't a pressure tactic — it's transparency. You deserve to know exactly what you're signing up for.
When Your Trial Ends
On day 15, if you haven't added a payment method:
- You'll see a modal asking you to subscribe
- Your data stays safe — nothing is deleted
- You have 30 days to add payment before any data cleanup
We're not going to delete your hard work overnight. That would be cruel.
What Happens to Your Data?

| Day 1-14 | Full trial access |
| Day 15+ | Subscription required to continue |
| Day 15-45 | Grace period — data preserved, access paused |
| Day 45+ | Account scheduled for cleanup |
Even during the grace period, you can export all your data anytime. We'll never hold your data hostage.
Adding Payment Before Trial Ends
Smart move. Go to Settings → Billing and click Subscribe. You'll only be charged when your trial actually ends, so there's no downside to adding payment early.
Trial Tips
- Invite your team early — The trial is for everyone, not just you
- Try the boss battles — They're more fun than they sound
- Set up your knowledge base — It's already included
- Don't panic — 14 days is plenty to know if cStar is right for you
