Map your fields once, reuse the setup forever.

What Gets Saved

  • Platform detection result
  • Entity type (tickets, customers, or articles)
  • Field mappings
  • Value mappings (status and priority translations)
  • Match settings
  • Merge strategies

Saving a Configuration

After completing field mapping and merge strategy steps in the Universal Importer, click Save Configuration. Give it a descriptive name -- something like "Monthly Zendesk ticket sync" or "CRM customer update."

Loading a Saved Configuration

Open Settings > Team > Import. Saved configurations appear at the top of the import section. Click one to load it, upload your file, and the importer applies your saved mappings and jumps straight to preview.

Managing Configurations

Each saved configuration shows the entity type, source platform, and match key. Delete configurations you no longer need using the trash icon next to each entry.

When Saved Configs Shine

  • Regular syncs -- Weekly or monthly data updates from an external system
  • Team handoffs -- One person sets up the mapping, everyone else reuses it
  • Testing -- Run a small test batch first, then the full import with the same config
  • Large migrations -- Split a big file into chunks and import each one without re-mapping fields
